1. Overview

SahajBook is designed with privacy in mind. Core business records created or imported for use in the app are stored and processed locally on the user's device. SahajBook does not upload or sync those business records to a cloud service.

2. Business data stored on the device

The app may store the business information that a user enters or imports so that SahajBook can provide its local invoicing, dashboard, insight and reporting features. This information is used to operate the app and is not intentionally transmitted by SahajBook to a remote server for cloud storage or synchronization.

3. File access and exports

SahajBook does not request special file access permissions for the purpose of controlling a user's storage. Where the app allows a user to save or export a file, the user chooses the destination according to the device's available file-saving flow. Users may rename saved files.

4. Website information

The website is a public informational site. At launch, it does not use analytics or behavioral tracking. Information voluntarily submitted through the contact form may include a name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message.

5. Contact submissions

Contact information is used to receive and respond to the user's enquiry. The website should retain only what is necessary for support and should not sell contact information.

6. Advertising

The app may display advertisements when a network connection is available. Advertising providers may receive or process information needed to provide advertising, such as device or ad-related information, according to their own policies. SahajBook does not provide advertisers with the user's business records as part of the core business-data workflow.

7. Network connectivity

Core business features are designed to work offline. When the app has a network connection, online connectivity may be used for advertising and for other explicitly described service functions such as checking for app updates.

8. Updates

The app may check the official website endpoint for a small update response containing the current app version and download destination. This response does not need the user's business records.

9. Third-party services

Any third-party service actually included in the production app or website should be named or categorized in the final Privacy Policy as required by the service and applicable law. The published policy must reflect the actual production configuration.

10. Data security

No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. SahajBook limits cloud transmission of core business records by design and should apply reasonable safeguards to website and contact handling.

11. Children

SahajBook is intended for businesses and is not specifically directed at children.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the product, website or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
